As media professionals covering everything great about Reno, I wanted to let you know about an event I am organizing for the end of the month. Our support from local businesses and agencies is growing daily and we would love to have yours as well. If you have any questions, please let us know.
On June 30th, Reno will be joining communities around the world in celebration of Social Media Day 2011. As an inspired community leader and innovator in the social media space, I wanted to personally invite you and your company to attend the inaugural celebration of Reno Social Media Day. This event is an opportunity to connect online avatars with offline faces and a celebration of our great community and what social media has done to expose it to others the world over.
The event will begin at Se7en Teahouse in the West Street Market at 5PM, and around 7PM we will make our way to Wingfield Park to continue the celebration with the Artown opening day parade featuring the Marchfourth Marching Band.
We hope you will join us in this celebration and spread the word. The hope is that all of the promotion will be done by social media, so we would appreciate it if you would join our page on facebook and share the attached letter with clients, co-workers, colleagues, employees, family, and friends to encourage them to participate.
