SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE

Sparks, Nev. – TnB Enterprises, Inc., a full service contract manufacturer of precision sheet metal, machining, assembly, silk screening and powder coating is opening a manufacturing facility in Sparks that will employ approximately 45 employees when fully staffed . TnB Enterprises, Inc. also has its own product line, Strong Case, featuring all-aluminum cases for the law enforcement, high-tech, and hunting and shooting industries.

The company moved its headquarters from Hayward, Calif., where it still runs a small operation, to northern Nevada because of the Nevada’s business-friendly climate, tax and distribution advantages, and the proximity to its California customer base and facility.

TnB Enterprises, Inc., located in a 24,000 facility at 845 Deming Way in Sparks, Nev. The opening of the manufacturing facility represents a projected $13,555,497 one-year economic impact to the region, and a five-year economic impact of $74,284,106, according to the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, (EDAWN), which worked with Reno Property Management, Nevada Commission on Economic Development and NAI Alliance to assist the company in its move from California.

It’s estimated as a result of the new company relocation to Sparks, a total of $2,146,442 in state and county taxes will be generated over the next five years of operation.

“Northern Nevada is a less congested place than California with a better quality of life,” said Thomas Bouthillier, president of TnB Enterprises, Inc. “When we needed to expand our operation, it was an easy decision to expand to Sparks. It made sense given Nevada’s business environment, less bureaucracy and lifestyle.”

The company’s Strong Case by TnB Enterprises, Inc., product line includes cases manufactured with precision sheet metal techniques including cases used for industrial, archery, accessories and firearms.

Bouthillier says the company has hired 15 employees and will hire as the business ramps up. Interested applicants should email resumes to: [email protected]. The Northern Nevada Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a ribbon-cutting at TnB’s facility on Friday, June 3, 2011 at 3 p.m.
