A free Green College seminar, Veggie Gardening in Full Swing, is set for Saturday, May 28, at 11 a.m. at Rail City Garden Center, 1720 Brierley Way in Sparks.
Jedi Master Gardener Randy Robison will provide helpful tips on getting the most from your garden. He’ll talk about the things you need to do now you’ve got your garden all planted and what pests to watch out for.
While the Green College seminar is free, the donation of one can of food for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada is encouraged. Seating is limited so call 775-355-1551 to register and reserve your seat.
