SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE
Muckel Anderson CPAs, a full-service tax, audit and financial services firm, has announced that the firm will be moving its offices in December 2011 to the Jones Vargas Center, a 15-story office tower located at 300 East Second Street, across from Aces Ballpark. The Class A office building is managed by Basin Street Properties, a prominent West Coast real estate investor in commercial and mixed-use properties.
After more than 15 years at its current location at 100 West Liberty Street in Reno, the firm chose the location to accommodate a more efficient office space for its 23 full-time employees, including 13 Certified Public Accountants, advanced technology systems, and to remain downtown among the professional services firms that are centered in the redevelopment district.
“We were excited when the opportunity presented itself to occupy new office space at Jones Vargas Center, and to continue to invest in downtown Reno,” said Grant “Butch” Anderson, III, managing shareholder of Muckel Anderson CPAs. “The new office provides our clients and employees with a quality professional environment, convenient location, and we’re able to accommodate the firm’s future growth, so it’s a ‘win-win.’”
Muckel Anderson CPAs will be located on the 13th floor of Jones Vargas Center featuring panoramic views of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and Aces Ballpark. Muckel Anderson will continue to operate in its current location at 100 West Liberty Street until its move to its new office in December 2011.
“Muckel Anderson CPAs is one of northern Nevada’s most well known and respected businesses and we are extremely pleased to have them as a tenant. Basin Street has been fortunate to be able to attract businesses the caliber of Muckel Anderson and offer them a strategic location that will assist in their continued success and growth in our community,” said Scott Stranzl, Basin Street’s vice president of leasing.
