United Construction Company has announced the completion of the construction and renovation of Fatburger restaurant located in North McCarran Crossing at 2870 Northtowne Lane in Reno. Beginning construction in December 2010, United Construction built the space to be a fully operational fast food restaurant including construction of the entire service line, kitchen and drive-through. MTK Limited is the facility owner and developer on the project.
“Having the opportunity to work on project like Fatburger is a feather in our cap because of the notoriety and name recognition the restaurant has,” said Craig Willcut, president of United Construction. “The United Construction team was able to turn a vacant tenant space into an operational space for Fatburger in 10 weeks. Founded in 1952, Fatburger currently has 68 different locations in California, Nevada, Arizona, Washington, Florida, Colorado, New Jersey, New York, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio and internationally in Canada, Dubai, Hong Kong, Macao and Jakarta.
North McCarran Crossing is a 10 acre commercial/retail project located on NorthTowne Lane in Reno at N. McCarran near US 395. As well as Fatburger, other tenants include: U-Swirl, Fresh and Easy, Dotty’s Gaming and Spirits, CVS Pharmacy, Little Caesars Pizza, H&R Block, Smog Check, NV Nails and Sprint. United Construction built both in-line shop buildings, all site improvements and the majority of the tenant improvements.
