Reduce your carbon footprint and gain some emergency bicycle repair skills

Date:

SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE

Residents can reduce their carbon footprint and gain some emergency bicycle repair skills while celebrating Bike to Work Week, May 14 through May 20.

Several City of Reno Neighborhood Advisory Boards (NAB) are partnering with Truckee Meadows Bicycle Alliance and conducting Confident City Cycling clinics. The clinics are scheduled during the months of April and May and the groups hope to encourage residents to drive cars a little less and ride bikes a little more.

These bicycle clinics will provide information on what you need to be a prepared peddler, how to safely share the roads with our non-peddling friends and some important repair skills should you have a peddling emergency.

The clinics are free to the public, last approximately one hour and are free to the public. Space is limited so please call to reserve your spot early.
