The Department of Water Resources (DWR) has scheduled a second community workshop regarding the Mt. Rose-Galena Groundwater Management and Domestic Well Mitigation on Tuesday, April 5 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in DWR’s Community Meeting Room located at 4930 Energy Way.
Mt. Rose –Galena residents are encouraged to attend this workshop where additional options for mitigating impacts of municipal pumping on domestic wells will be brainstormed. At this meeting DWR will also introduce a discussion of an initial policy framework to be used in developing its recommendation to the Board of County Commissioners on a domestic well mitigation plan.
