This year, LACO has expanded its operations to Reno, Nev. and is currently holding interviews for several positions at its new 36,000 square foot facility located at 1150 Trademark Ave. LACO will provide an estimated 100 new jobs during the next 24 months of operation. The company estimates the job count to reach 200 by the end of its fifth year in operation.

The company’s expansion was brokered by Tom Miller of Miller Industrial Properties based in Reno, Nev., a broker partner of the Northern Nevada Development Authority (NNDA), and Bob Kumnick of Lee and Associates Commercial Real Estate Services based in Pleasanton, Calif.
LACO Founder and CEO Erika Meciar stated, “Expanding our operations to Reno, Nevada was a strategic decision that involved weighing all the positives and negatives. The goal was to find a location that would combine a favorable business environment with an equally complimenting standard of living for our employees.
