SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE

What’s all the buzz about beekeeping? Why are northern Nevadans keeping bees these days?

Get the answers to these questions and discover the benefits of bees at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, in the free “Beekeeping in Nevada” Green College Seminar at Rail City Garden Center, 1720 Brierley Way in Sparks.

In the seminar Leonard Joy, a local beekeeper, will provide the basics of how to set-up and maintain bees in your own back yard.

While the Green College Seminar is free, the donation of one can of food for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada is encouraged.  Seating is limited so call 775-355-1551 to register for the seminar and reserve your seat.

For more information on Rail City Garden Center, call 775-355-1551 or visit www.railcitygardencenter.com or www.railcitygarden.net.
