Wacky weather patterns disrupting produce crops have sent food prices over the moon! Learn how to slash grocery bills by growing your own food in your own yard in a free Green College Seminar at Rail City Garden Center at 11 a.m. on Sat., March 19.
Using raised planters and containers will be emphasized in this class taught by Randy Robinson, Jedi Master Gardener.
While the Green College Seminar is free, the donation of one can of food for the Food Bank of Northern Nevada is encouraged. Seating is limited so call 775-355-1551 to register and reserve your seat.
