WHAT: University of Phoenix Northern Nevada Campus invites students, alumni and other members of the community to attend a free workshop for job seekers and those looking to grow their careers. The following topics will be addressed:

  • The 2011 Northern Nevada employment outlook
  • Where the jobs are: Largest and fastest growing local industries
  • Who is hiring: Northern Nevada companies with job openings
  • Job search strategies: What recruiters are searching for and how to catch their eye
  • Writing a résumé that demands attention and polishing interview skills
