Q & D Construction in Sparks, NV, specializes in commercial building, general engineering, custom mill working, and public infrastructure such as roads and pipelines. The company was founded in 1964. In 2010, Q & D’s high profile projects included McCarran Blvd. improvements at I-80 in Northwest Reno, Pyramid Way reconstruction and improvements in Sparks and the Cliff House private residence at Lake Tahoe.
RHP Mechanical Systems of Reno, NV, has its fifth AGC subcontractor of the year award. Services are provided to architectural clients, contractors, owners and government organizations. This company has been a leader in AGC’s education and community programs. The awards were announced today at the Nevada Chapter’s Annual Convention held at Atlantis Resort Casino in Reno, NV.

The Nevada Chapter AGC was formed in 1939 by a group of Nevadans to replace the dangerous gravel roads in northern Nevada with modern asphalt. Now the group has become known for more than building roads.
