Giving the Valentine’s Day some bite for the third year
For those who complain each year that Valentine’s Day isn’t any fun, the Reno Valentine’s Vampire Crawl will once again be sweeping through downtown on Saturday, Feb 12th, starting at 7pm. Costing only $5 for a commemorative cup, map, access to $2 and $3 drink specials as well as contests and more at 15 different locations, and posting starting points at both The Waterfall (135 W. 2nd St.) and Se7en Bar (at West Street Market), the crawl offers a fun alternative to the usual gifts of flowers and chocolate.
Presented by the same organizers as the popular Reno Zombie Crawl, the event expects to see over 1,000 participants this year and is selling VIP drink cups on the event website. All VIP cup proceeds will be going towards the Reno Collective, a community center for entrepreneurs, freelancers and startups focusing on innovation and community building, located at 522 Lander St., off of California Avenue.
