A Reno Christmas Story
This Thursday, come down to the Knitting Factory to see all your favorite Reno hip hop acts cover stone cold hip-hop classics from Run DMC, Wu-Tang, Slick Rick, LL Cool J, Biz Markie, Snoop Dog, Easy E and more! Funds from the door benefit Holland and you get extra-good karma if you bring a toy for Toys for Tots. Do some good and go! Thursday, December 16th, doors at 6:30pm.
Grass Widow, Dust Hound, and The Indoors – FRIDAY!!
GRASS WIDOW is coming back on Friday, December 17th with Thee Indoors and Dust Hounds joining them. Grass Widow makes some real good surfy weird rock, Thee Indoors is way cool post-punky music, and Dust Hounds will be premiering their brand of dark punk (first show ever!). Ugly Sweater Poetry Slam
Saturday night Spoken Views hosts their first-ever slam, hosted by Iain Watson. Come down to the Holland Show Space at Rainshadow to witness the Christmas magic. Bring yourself, an ugly sweater and poetry to win it all! 6pm sign-ups, show at 6:30pm. $5 general, $4 with an ugly sweater. Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd & 3rd! Bring it.
