SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE
Avoid mall crowds and find great gifts for even the most persnickety people on your holiday shopping list at the National Automobile Museum store in downtown Reno.
Parking in the Museum lot off Mill Street is free and shoppers can be in and out with the perfect gift in minutes.
The Museum store specializes in gifts that elicit grins. Museum store purchases are tax free and benefit the Museum.
For a car guy or gal or your favorite techie, pick up a wireless computer mouse shaped like a Corvette, Camero or Viper with headlights that flash when you “click”.
Golf anyone? The Museum has logoed Nike golf balls and tee sets along with golf towels.
For automobile enthusiasts, you’ll be hard pressed to find a greater variety of gifts than those available in the Museum store. “Busted Knuckles” T-Shirts and hats practically fly off the shelves in December.
“Our Ratfink items are always popular too,” said Jackie Frady, executive director of the National Automobile Museum, The Harrah Collection. “We have T-shirts, plush toys and signs.”
Some signs are almost guaranteed a chuckle the moment they are unwrapped.
For him you’ll find:
- “Fireman Parking Only All Others Will Be Smoked”
- “What happens in My Garage Stays in My Garage”
For her there are:
- “Princess Parking Only All Others Will Be Toad”
- “Drama Queen Way”
Still don’t know what to choose? Gift certificate are available.
If you want to provide entertainment and education throughout the year for your special someone, consider a Museum Membership.
