Reno High School Student Peter Laxalt was the recent winner of a T-shirt design contest that will benefit the Holland Project, Reno’s youth, art and culture non-profit organization.

Laxalt won the contest out of nearly 100 submitted designs from youth ranging from ages 13 to 19. The contest was for The Summit’s Cause for Style contest, designed to recognize teenage artists while also benefiting a non-profit organization.

Laxalt will receive a $500 gift card to The Summit. T-shirts of Laxalt’s design are being donated by Blue Moon Designs. Sales will benefit the Holland Project.

There is a reception tonight from 5-7 p.m. in the Dillard’s Juniors Section at The Summit.
