SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE

Port of Subs, Inc., in conjunction with the local Salvation Army, is participating in this season’s Angel Tree promotion taking place in all 23 Reno/Sparks restaurant locations.  All collected items will be donated to local children in Northern Nevada on December 16th by the Salvation Army to those who have been affected by the financial crisis and would otherwise go without toys this holiday season.

Given the current economic climate, percentage of unemployment in the state and struggling families, children are in more need now than ever for holiday donations.

All Reno/Sparks Port of Subs have will receive 50 “Angel tags” (per restaurant) that will be hung on each designated Angel Tree located in the restaurant, asking customers to adopt an “Angel” and purchase a gift for that child and deliver it back to the appropriate restaurant location by Wednesday, December 15th.

“We are proud to partner with the Salvation Army and have had great success with the Angel Tree promotion,” stated Port of Subs President, Mike Powell.  “We are very optimistic this year will be another success and we’ll receive a great outpouring of generosity by our customers in support of such a terrific cause.”
