Date:

image001-4822841-8786329The Nevada Wolf Pack’s football game at Fresno State on Nov. 13 has been selected for a national broadcast by one of the ESPN family of networks and kickoff has been moved back a half-hour to 7:30 p.m., school officials announced today.

The game will be broadcast on either ESPN or ESPNU and a decision on which network will carry the game is expected within a week.

This game will mark Nevada’s fifth appearance on an ESPN network so far this season. Nevada’s win over Cal was on ESPN2. The Wolf Pack’s victories over Colorado State, San Jose State and Utah State were all carried by ESPNU. Nevada is scheduled for another ESPN2 game on Nov. 26 at home against Boise State.

Overall, Nevada will now have eight national TV appearances as the win over BYU was broadcast on The Mtn. network as was the victory over UNLV in the Battle for the Fremont Cannon.

Nevada’s game at Hawaii was carried by the WAC Sports Network, as will this week’s game against Idaho. The Nevada-Louisiana Tech game is scheduled for the WAC Sports Network, which is KAME My-21 locally in Northern Nevada.

Per the WAC’s contract with ESPN, the network holds the rights to add games to the broadcast schedule provided the selections are made at least 12 days prior to kickoff.
