Musicians Perform in “A Song for Alex” to Raise Funds to Cover Funeral Costs

Riverwalk Merchants and local musicians are banding together to raise money to cover funeral costs for the son of one of their own on Sat., Nov. 6 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the West Street Market, 148 West St. in downtown Reno.  A donation of $5 is requested for the concert.

Several local musicians and groups have offered to provide entertainment free of charge to raise funds for the funeral of Alex Theoglitis  the 21 year-old son of Niko and Jaqui Theoglitis, owners of Niko’s Greek Kitchen in downtown Reno. Alex tragically, committed suicide.

Included in the entertainment lineup for the concert being called “A Song for Alex” are; Michelle Pappas, Eric Andersen, Hip-Hop artist Tree Woods, Niko’s daughter Athena and more.
