Sen. Harry Reid announced today that 17 Nevada therapeutic discovery projects will be awarded more than $3.1 million in tax credits through the Affordable Care Act to conduct research that will lead to breakthroughs in detection, prevention and treatment of serious and chronic disease.

This funding will also help these firms employ researchers, scientists and doctors creating new highly skilled jobs that also serve the greater good.”
