Harrah’s Foundation presents Junior League of Reno with $70,000 grant for Universally Accessible Playground project

WHAT: The Harrah’s Foundation will present a $70,000 check to Junior League of Reno for its Universally Accessible Playground (UAP) project.  The grant will allow Junior League to begin the design and construction phase of the project, which will open in summer 2011.

WHEN: Thursday, Nov. 11 at 1:30 p.m.

WHY: The Junior League of Reno has completed its two-year fundraising campaign to build a UAP.  The new playground, located at Dick Taylor Park, will be the region’s first fully-accessible playground for children and family members of all abilities.
