Give a gift in more ways than one as Napa-Sonoma supports the food bank with every gift basket sold

Visit the newly relocated Napa-Sonoma Grocery Company in the Plumgate Shopping Center for one-stop shopping this holiday season, and give the gift of a holiday meal just by purchasing a Napa-Sonoma gift basket.

From now through December the custom grocer and wine bar donates $2 to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada for each gift basket sold, making it easy for customers to give back to the community while also getting a head start on holiday shopping with Napa-Sonoma’s wide and unique assortment of gift baskets. Simply mention the food bank at the time of purchase this November and December to automatically help support local families in need.

“We are excited to team with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada this season and encourage the community to head down for fun holiday shopping for friends, family and co-workers while also gaining the chance to contribute to those in need,” said Cynthia Egan, manager of Napa-Sonoma. “The community has been so great to us over the years, and it’s very gratifying for us to be able to give back by helping the food bank this holiday season.”

Browse a wide array of personalized and customized gift baskets perfect for Thanksgiving or Christmas gifts. Napa’s top-tier baskets include fine wines, olive oils, baked goods and unique grocery items sold exclusively at Napa-Sonoma including Dean & Deluca fine food and wine. In addition, choose from specialty items from both local and regional vendors including utilitarian pottery, “made in Nevada” products, local honey and Woof & Poof handmade gifts from Chico, Calif.

Serving the community for nearly 25 years, the Food Bank of Northern Nevada is a regional food distribution system benefiting more than 100 direct service, non-profit agencies that help the citizens of northern Nevada.
