Former Siena Chefs Open Krumblz Deli & Bakery and Hire Their Past Co-Workers as Staff

Two former chefs at the Siena have combined forces to open Krumblz Deli & Bakery in Reno and they’ve hired their former co-workers to staff the new business venture.

Grand Opening Celebration

Krumblz Grand Opening is set for Sun., Nov. 7th starting at 6 a.m. Enjoy free pastries and complimentary Italian coffees during the grand opening celebration.

The new deli and bakery at 80 Giroux St. Suite 102 (one block west of Kietzke off 2nd St.) boasts freshly baked breads, French pastries and an array of breakfast and lunch entrees literally bursting with flavor.

Donate a Can of Food & Receive a Pastry

As part of the bakery and deli grand opening celebration throughout the month of November, if you donate a can of food or non perishable food item to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada at Krumblz you’ll receive a free pastry with your order.

Krumblz Owners Have Big Plans

Executive Chef and Krumblz co-owner Juan Villa, a Nevada native, is a graduate of Western Culinary Institute-Le Cordon Bleu with honors.  Villa was lead chef of the Lexie’s on the River at the Siena Casino until it closed in October.

Lead Pastry Chef and Krumblz co-owner Eduardo Quevedo, was lead pastry chef at the Siena.  Quevedo’s pastries and breads are acclaimed.

“We use only the freshest ingredients and take pride in the original and  innovative flavors you’ll find in our entrees,” says Chef Juan Villa.  “Our incredible breads are used to provide one-of-a-kind sandwiches and our pastries look beautiful and taste even better.”

Krumblz menu focuses on fresh deli meats, a variety of baked breads coupled with exciting flavor combinations and delicious French style pastries.

Each menu item is designed to put a smile on your face and a smile on your wallet.  Breakfast and lunch entrees start at $4.95 and pastries range from $1 to $2.95.

The new restaurant will be open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch from

6 a.m. to 5 p.m. A special $4.95 omelet breakfast and a $4.95 soup and sandwich special will be available throughout November and December.
