The Reno Chamber Orchestra, Reno Philharmonic, and Nevada Opera present “Reno’s Concertmaster: Ruth Lenz in Concert, A benefit performance for her orchestras” this Friday, October 22 at 7:30 p.m. at UNR’s Nightingale Concert Hall.

This is a great opportunity for the community to pay tribute to Dr. Lenz, who serves as concertmaster for all three of the presenting organizations. She and pianist Dr. James Winn will perform music by Brahms, Prokofiev, Handel, and others.

 Seating will be open, with admittance to the concert hall beginning at 6:30 p.m.

 The evening will be capped by a lovely wine and dessert reception. 

Tickets are $40 each, and can be purchased at the RCO website or by calling (775) 348-9413. A printable order form from the website can be faxed to (775) 348-0643. $10 student rush tickets can be purchased at the door, pending availability, with valid student ID.
