SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE

Rory Reid’s campaign has begun airing a new television ad on statewide Spanish-language television. The ad stresses the importance of education to Nevada families and the economic future of our state.

“I am a candidate for governor because Nevada needs better public schools for all children,” Reid says in Spanish in the 30-second spot. “A quality education prepares to our children for the jobs of the future. Our schools are key to a stronger economy and stronger families. ”

The ad also features Reid’s wife of 22 years, Cindy.

It’s just the latest example of Reid reaching out to the Hispanic community. This new spot is his third Spanish-language television ad. His grassroots campaign has included numerous events in the Hispanic community, as well as targeted canvassing and phone banking outreach efforts.

Reid is proud to have earned the endorsements of the state’s two largest Spanish-language newspapers, El Tiempo and El Mundo, as well as IMPACTO, the political arm of the Latin Chamber of Commerce, and Hispanics in Politics.

Rory Reid is the only candidate for governor to offer solutions for today and a plan for Nevada’s future success – supporting strong schools for a stronger economy. For more information about his campaign or to download his plans, visit Rory2010.com.
