MFG Benefits hosts second educational health care forum lunch



Learn how latest series of changes in the health care reform bill, which went into effect last month, affects you, your employees and your bottom line at a free lunch hosted by MFG Benefits, LLC on Wed., Oct. 20 from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the Reno offices of MacLean Financial Group, 1325 Airmotive Way, Suite 390.

MFG Benefits routinely provides professional guidance for businesses to increase their ability to attract and retain a quality workforce.

Luncheon speaker Larry Hurst, MPA, is Director of Nevada Government Relations for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. He is a professor of health policy at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.

Hurst is past-president for the Nevada Association of Health Underwriters, National Regulatory Chair for the National Association of Health Underwriters and a board member for Nevadans for Affordable Health Care.

His experience includes medical practice management, corporate compliance, legislative/regulatory oversight, managed care operations, health policy analysis and lobbying.
