Luncheon speaker Larry Hurst, MPA, is Director of Nevada Government Relations for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. He is a professor of health policy at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Hurst is past-president for the Nevada Association of Health Underwriters, National Regulatory Chair for the National Association of Health Underwriters and a board member for Nevadans for Affordable Health Care.
His experience includes medical practice management, corporate compliance, legislative/regulatory oversight, managed care operations, health policy analysis and lobbying.
