SUBMITTED RELEASE FROM SANDOVAL CAMPAIGN
Rory Reid’s shoot first, ask questions later strategy has failed him. Again. Today, his own law partner shot back.
Reid’s latest ad continues his false and fabricated attack on Brian Sandoval over a 1997 banking bill sponsored by then-Assemblyman Sandoval, passed unanimously and signed into law by Bob Miller.
Today, Reid’s current law partner–and the author of the 1997 banking bill–admitted “the bill did not do what [Rory Reid] says it did in ads.”
Reid’s law partner also told Jon Ralston that “it is inaccurate–as Reid’s ad campaign says–to call it a regulation bill because it did not affect the larger banks.” (Jon Ralston, Las Vegas Sun, 09/27/10)
“Rory Reid has a consistent problem telling the truth,” Sandoval Communications Director Mary-Sarah Kinner said. “Rory Reid is the worst kind of politician–he’ll say anything just to get elected.”
