Founded in 2008 in New York City, TapIt is a network of café’s and eateries that let you fill your reusable bottle with tap water. GoodStanding, a new division of Olsen & Associates, recently partnered with TapIt to bring this unique collaboration to Reno.

“When I learned about TapIt, I knew that this program would fit perfectly in Reno, due to our high quality drinking water and our local businesses who want to make a difference in our community and our environment,” said Marlene Olsen, principle strategist for GoodStanding and president of Olsen & Associates.

TapIt was created to give on-the-go people an opportunity to stay hydrated while offering a real alternative to bottled water. Currently in Reno, 15 locations will fill up your reusable bottle with tap water.

The following businesses will fill up your reusable bottle for free with tap water:

  • Blue Moon
  • Café Musee
  • The Cheese Board
  • Delta Café Coffee Co.
  • Dish
  • Downtown Marketplace
  • Freeman’s
  • House of Bread
  • Jungle Java/Jungle Vino
  • My Favorite Muffin – all three locations
  • Niko’s Greek Deli
  • Truckee Meadows Water Authority
  • Truckee River East & Sweets
  • Voila!

Since more locations are frequently added, download the free iPhone app at tapitwater.com and always know where you can fill up your reusable bottle.
