Opinion: Rory Reid Web video shows Brian Sandoval’s struggles

SUBMITTED RELEASE FROM RORY 2010

A new Web video from Rory Reid’s campaign takes a look at recent headlines in the gubernatorial race as the Democratic candidate prepares for Sunday’s debate.

The past month has been a rough one for Brian Sandoval, as he was finally forced to answer questions from the public and contend with a national scandal. And Sandoval is growing concerned as he heads to Las Vegas to face the state during the first gubernatorial debate. The Republican knows voters are beginning to notice his absence from this race.

“In September, we will define him. He’ll be known by more than what he’s known for today,” Reid told Politico this week. “His September will be nothing like his August.”

Sandoval wrote in a missive to supporters this morning, “We must be prepared to fight back.”

Meanwhile, Reid has been preparing for the debate and continuing to travel the state, talking with voters about creating jobs and improving our struggling education system. This morning he met with union construction workers at McCarran International Airport.

On Friday, Reid will tour the Desert Research Institute’s Reno campus. Sunday’s debate, at the Andre Agassi College Preparatory Academy in Las Vegas, will be broadcast across Nevada, on KLAS 8 in Las Vegas and on KTVN 2 in Reno.

Reid is the only candidate for governor to offer solutions for today and a plan for Nevada’s future success–supporting strong schools for a stronger economy. For more information about his campaign or to download his plans, visit Rory2010.com.
