In response to an ad released by Sen. Harry Reid’s campaign, the Angle campaign said this:
“Sharron Angle has made clear that the fund was an important first step, that BP caused this disaster, and that BP should pay for it. That said, this never would have happened if the Obama Administration’s Mineral Management Agency had been doing their job of oversight of BP. Both the Administration and BP need to be held fully accountable for the mistakes they made.
“Meanwhile, Harry Reid, instead of holding everyone involved accountable to ensure this never happens again, is spending millions on desperate attacks trying to distract from how his economic record has destroyed the Nevada economy.”
