It’s been a year since This Is Reno launched. We are posting this to say thank you for following us in that time.
As you know, T.I.R. is all-volunteer and does not accept paid advertising. We consider this to be a valid experiment in community news, a way to ensure voices are still heard when newsrooms are downsized and the respect for journalism is at an all-time low.
Nowhere else in northern Nevada are you able read, direct from the sources, unedited and unfiltered news. This is in addition to our original commentary, art, interviews and reviews.
