At the eastern edge of Nevada is one of the state’s unparalleled natural wonders: Great Basin National Park. The park boasts 5,000-year-old bristlecone pines, Wheeler Peak, which stands above 13,000 feet, and the marbled Lehman Caves.
Both are must-see visits away from Nevada’s metropolitan areas.
Below are slideshows from inside Lehman Cave and images from a hiking trail toward Wheeler Peak. Great Basin National Park is 385 miles from Reno and 286 miles from Las Vegas.
