Popular storyteller Glenda Bonin presents an interactive program to celebrate the 2010 Summer Reading theme, “Make a Splash@your library.”
“Squirrely Shirley Makes Waves” is about a funny little squirrel who lives in a tree stump. Squirrely Shirley wants to learn how to swim, but she isn’t too sure she wants to leave her home to do it. This fun-filled program artfully combines traditional storytelling, a bit of puppetry and some magic to keep every member of the audience enthralled.
