BLM NEWS RELEASE
BATTLE MOUNTAIN — The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Battle Mountain District Office has donated 62 used computers to the Lander County School system. The computers, which included monitors, keyboards, mice, speakers and printers, were delivered to the school district’s computer building on June 3.
“We really appreciate the BLM doing this for us,” said Lander County School District Superintendent Curtis Jordan. “These computers will replace the old computers in labs and classrooms all over the school district.”
In 2009, the BLM Battle Mountain District also donated 12 computers to the Central Nevada Historical Society in Tonopah.
