Reno Jets boxing club seeks volunteer coaches

bgctmlogo-300x200-5930985-1711243The Reno Jets, Reno’s premier youth competitive boxing club, is seeking volunteer coaches to mentor aspiring boxers at the Tavares Gym at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. Ideal candidates will have a background and knowledge of boxing, and are able to work 4-6 p.m., Monday-Friday. Hours are flexible, but volunteer coaches are expected to be reliable.

The Jets are also looking for volunteer doctors and officials to work fight events.

Reno Jets boxing is open to boys ages 10-18 and girls ages 13-18. Classes are held 3-7 p.m. Monday-Friday at the Tavares Boxing Gym at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, 2680 E. Ninth St. in Reno. Cost is a Club membership ($20 annually) plus insurance ($50 annually).
