Reno Chamber Orchestra presents “Lunch with the Maestro” April 9

On Friday, April 9 the Reno Chamber Orchestra hosts “Lunch with the Maestro” at Mario’s Portofino, 1505 South Virginia Street in Reno. Special guests will be RCO Music Director Theodore Kuchar and Zuill Bailey, the cello soloist in the RCO’s season-ending concerts on April 10 and 11.

The cost is $20 per person, seating is limited, reservations are required by 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 7. Call the RCO at (775) 348-9413.

When: Friday April 9 – no-host bar opens at 11:30 a.m., with lunch at noon
Where: Mario’s Portofino, 1505 South Virginia Street, Reno
Cost: $20, includes entrée, soup or salad, and dessert

Mushroom Ravioli
Baked Manicotti with ricotta cheese
Chicken Marsala
Vegetarian salad with goat cheese

While making “Lunch with the Maestro” reservations, callers can also purchase tickets for Reno Chamber Orchestra performances, Theodore Kuchar, and Zuill Bailey – on Saturday, April 10 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 11 at 2:00 p.m. at UNR’s Nightingale Concert Hall. In these final concerts of the RCO’s 2009-10 season, Schubert’s beloved “Unfinished” Symphony, the lively Lachian Dances by Janácek, and Elgar’s moving Cello Concerto are played.
