SUBMITTED NEWS RELEASE
Single-game tickets for the second season of Reno Aces Baseball will go on-sale in person at Aces Ballpark and online at www.RenoAces.com at 10 a.m. this Saturday, March 6.
Tickets for all 72 home games, including the much-anticipated April 8 Opening Day, will be made available to the public at the Aces Ballpark Box Office. Tickets may also be purchased online, by visiting www.RenoAces.com. There will be an eight-ticket per person limit for Opening Day.
Following a 2009 season that saw more than 466,000 fans pass through the gates, all single-game ticket prices have remained the same for the 2010 season.
Fans purchasing their tickets at the ballpark on March 6 will have the chance to register for special Aces prizes, including a Dugout Suite rental for a game in the 2010 season.
Full and partial season-ticket plans, in addition to group outings, are all on-sale now. Fans looking to attend Opening Day and other popular dates are encouraged to consider a season-ticket plan or group outing, as that is the only way to guarantee a seat for these sought-after dates. Prospective season-ticket buyers have the opportunity to select which seats they would like to purchase in person at Aces Ballpark right now by making an appointment with the Aces front office. Sales representatives will also be on-hand on March 6 to offer fans the chance to view remaining season-ticket seating options.
Last season marked the inaugural year for Aces Baseball in Reno at the brand-new Aces Ballpark. The Aces, Triple-A Affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, turned-out the third-best record in the Pacific Coast League in 2009. Twenty-five players who saw time with the Aces last season played in the Major Leagues, including up-and-coming stars Brandon Allen, John Hester and Rusty Ryal, as well as Major League rehabilitation assignees Stephen Drew, Eric Byrnes and Chad Tracy.
