Tickets still availale for this weekends Reno Chamber Orchestra

 The Reno Chamber Orchestra’s 2009-2010 season continues this weekend. Concerts are this Saturday, February 27 at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, February 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Nightingale Concert Hall, in the Church Fine Arts Building at the University of Nevada.Maestro Theodore Kuchar will lead the Orchestra in the First Suite of Ancient Airs and Dances by Ottorino Respighi and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 2. Maria Pisarenko, the first prize winner of the RCO’s 2010 College Concerto Competition, will be the piano soloist in Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 21.

Tickets are still available for both performances at (775) 348-9413 or at the RCO website.

Everyone eighteen years of age or younger and full-time college students can attend for just $5. Also featured are discounts for groups of four or more – call for more information.

The Chamber has also once again set aside a very limited number of $25 tickets for those who wouldn’t otherwise be able to attend. Call the RCO office for details; these discounted $25 tickets are only available via telephone.

To learn more about the music the RCO will perform, come to Nightingale Concert Hall a little early and enjoy our free pre-concert talks, featuring Maestro Kuchar and Ms. Pisarenko. They start 50 minutes before each concert – 7:10 on Saturday and 1:10 on Sunday.
