The Nevada Museum of Art at 160 W. Liberty Street in downtown Reno hosts ArteITALIA day Thursday, February 25 / 10 am – 8 pm where  everyone is invited to see Raphael: The Woman with the Veil for free.

This must see exhibition features one of the most fabled renaissance paintings and is your opportunity to experience the talent and technique of Raphael. On Arte ITALIA Day, tour guides will be on hand from 2 to 8 pm and at 6pm enjoy the sounds of “Reno Early Music”. 

Generously hosted by E. L. Wiegand Foundation’s Arte ITALIA, celebrating Italian art and culture, admission is free to everyone for all galleries on Thursday, February 25, 2010.  

Other exhibitions on view: A Survey of Gee’s Bend Quilts; Trophy Hunter: Bryan Christiansen; The Beffi Triptych: Preserving Abruzzo’s Cultural Heritage; Swarm: Elaine Parks; Penelope Gottlieb: No $ Down; and Lucy Raven: China Town.
