Saint Mary’s announces H1N1 vaccination clinics

On Saturday, Dec. 12 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., Saint Mary’s Immunization Program will offer H1N1 vaccinations to all individuals age 2 to 24, pregnant women, healthcare and EMS workers, caregivers of children six months and younger and those 25 and older with chronic health conditions.

The clinic will be held on the third floor of the Saint Mary’s Center for Health and Fitness located at 645 North Arlington Ave.  The H1N1 vaccine is available for $20, or free to Saint Mary’s HealthFirst and Health Choice members who present their insurance card.   This is the first clinic that Saint Mary’s has conducted where anyone with chronic health conditions over the age of 25 are eligible to receive the vaccine.

Saint Mary’s Immunization Program will also offer H1N1 vaccine at the follow dates, times and locations:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 15 from 3 p.m.-6 p.m.; Scolari’s, 1300 Disc Dr., Sparks, Nev.
  • Saturday, Dec. 19 from 9 a.m.-nooner; Galena, 18653 Wedge Parkway, Reno, Nev.

All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian in order to receive the H1N1 vaccine.

Saint Mary’s Immunization Program is also offering H1N1 vaccinations through appointments. For an appointment call 770-7100.
