Renown offers additional H1N1 flu shot events

renown_brochure_091006_b-24In addition to the Tuesday’s seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccination event, Renown Health will offer four additional flu shot events after Christmas. Additional dates are also being considered.

Tuesday, Dec. 29 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Reno Town Mall (Seasonal/H1N1)

Tuesday, Jan. 5 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Reno Town Mall (Seasonal/H1N1)

Saturday, Jan. 9 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Reno Town Mall (Seasonal/H1N1)

Tuesday, Jan. 12 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Reno Town Mall (Seasonal/H1N1)

H1N1 vaccinations will be offered to anyone over the age of 10. Pediatric flu shots are available by appointment only for children ages 6 months to 10 years old. Call 775-982-4148 to schedule these appointments.

The cost for an H1N1 shot is $20 or free to Medicare beneficiaries (Part B), members of Senior Care Plus or Hometown Health fully insured HMO and PPO plans.

The cost for a seasonal flu shot is $28 or free to Medicare beneficiaries (Part B), members of Senior Care Plus or Hometown Health fully insured HMO and PPO plans.
