WASHINGTON, D.C.–Nevada Senator Harry Reid announced more than $2.1 million of economic recovery funding is headed to Reno that will create jobs in renewable energy projects and help lower the cost of energy bills.
“I’m pleased that Reno is receiving this money to create jobs and improve energy efficiency,” Reid said. “From installing wind turbines on top of City Hall, to upgrading the energy efficiency of the lights at Vaughn Middle School Park, this money will help put Nevadans back to work and lower energy costs.”
