Vaccine available to pregnant women, those with chronic health conditions, healthcare and EMS workers and caregivers of children less than six months

In an effort to help immunize those most susceptible to complications from H1N1, Saint Mary’s Immunization Program will offer vaccinations to participants ages two to 24, pregnant women, individuals ages 25-64 with chronic health conditions, healthcare and EMS workers and caregivers of children less than 6 months. The one day clinic on Tuesday, Dec. 8 will run from 6 to 9 p.m. at Saint Mary’s at Galena, 18653 Wedge Parkway in Reno.
Cost for the H1N1 vaccine at Saint Mary’s one-day clinic is $20, or free to Saint Mary’s HealthFirst and Health Choice members who present their insurance card.
All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian in order to receive the H1N1 vaccine.
