Presented by Reno-based Producer/Director Jayne McKay, the Nevada Museum of Art will host a special screening of the award-winning film “Maynard Dixon: Art and Spirit” on Thursday, Nov. 19 at 6 p.m.
Discover the remarkable life and career of famed western artist Maynard Dixon through this film, a winner of the 2008 Western Writers Association Spur Award. McKay will lead an intimate audience discussion after the screening to talk about the artist’s life and legacy before inviting guests to tour Dixon’s works on exhibit in the museum.
