The Reno Pops Orchestra will present, “Ah, Paris!” on Saturday, Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. at St. Johns Presbyterian Church, 1070 W. Plumb Lane, in Reno.
Featured during the evening of music will be Eric Kao, the Reno Pops Orchestra concerto competition winner, who will showcase the first movement of the virtuosic Camille Saint-Saens Second Piano Concerto.
The orchestra will perform the Saint-Saens Organ Symphony (#3) on the new pipe organ at St. John’s.
Included on the evenings program will be George Gershwin’s American in Paris, and selections from Les Miserables and Gigi.
The Reno Pops Orchestra is a nonprofit, all-volunteer orchestra which serves the Reno/Sparks community by providing free or low-cost, high quality concerts. It also actively promotes music education to families and children.
