Nevada Soccer downed by Portland State 3-0

wolf-pack-logo-300x218-8021283-1178324The University of Nevada soccer team fell at Portland State 3-0 Sunday afternoon.

With the loss, Nevada fell to 0-5 on the year while Portland State improved to 2-2.

The Vikings scored its first goal just before halftime in the 42nd minute. Portland State added two goals in the second half in the 59th and 79th minutes to post the 3-0 win.

Nevada recorded three shots in the game, two from Sarah Voss (one on goal) and one from Devin Noe, while Portland State recorded 15 (six on goal).

Pack keeper Marie Cove made three saves in the game while Vikings keeper Cris Lewis made one.

Nevada freshman Raylene Larot made her first career start for the Pack.

Nevada will host Fordham Friday night at 7 p.m. and will host Sacramento State on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Mackay Stadium.
