Tallahassee, Fla. — Former University of Nevada All-America diver Candice Minette (Glendale, Ariz.) earned a pair of top five finishes at the AT&T National Diving Championships over the weekend. Minette was fourth in the 3-meter with a score of 309.80 and teamed with Olympian Kelci Bryant (Chatham, Ill.) to score 289.50 points to place third in the 3-meter synchronized event.
Minette completed her eligibility at Nevada in the spring after helping the Wolf Pack to three consecutive Western Athletic Conference swimming and diving titles.
Bob Conrad is publisher, editor and co-founder of This Is Reno. He has served in communications positions for various state agencies and earned a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2011. In addition to managing This Is Reno, he holds a part-time appointment for the Mineral County University of Nevada Extension office.
