Dozens of Tesla car owners from all over the country joined the Reno Chamber of Commerce and other community leaders on Saturday, July 30, 2016, to celebrate a ribbon cutting at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa that featured six Tesla Supercharger stations, the only such in the Reno area. The Tesla charging stations were highlighted at the event that officially opened Atlantis’ northeast parking lot that also provides high-tech security features.
The celebration at Atlantis culminated a number of other recent high-powered electric vehicle events in Northern Nevada that included the Grand Opening of Tesla’s GigaFactory and TMC Connect 2016, the 4th annual summer symposium of Tesla Motors Club (TMC), which ran from July 28-30.
