The company invites show submissions for its 2014 season for all genres of theater including musicals, dramas, comedies, one acts, full length, and non-traditional performance. At the same time Good Luck Macbeth (GLM) is accepting applications from directors, scenic designers, and costume designers. Submissions and applications can be made by anyone, no experience necessary. GLM encourages new people as well as theater veterans, amateur and professional, to submit.

Submissions for show consideration should include the following: show title and author, publishing company, a short synopsis (usually found at the publisher’s website), cast size and breakdown, any special technical requirements, and a short vision statement. The vision statement should include why GLM would be a great venue and company to accomplish the vision of the production.

Directors and designers wishing to be considered for the upcoming season should send a cover letter, resume, and any supporting materials they may have such as a portfolio or show reel. Supporting materials are optional and may have nothing to do specifically with theater but should illustrate creative or technical qualifications.

All questions, materials, and submissions should be sent by email to [email protected]. Please, no phone calls or drop-ins. The 2014 season will be announced in November of 2013 and run from February 2014 through December 2014. For more information about Good Luck Macbeth visit www.goodluckmacbeth.org.
