I had the pleasure of being invited to a debate party held at Lincoln Lounge last night. The party was centered around the first 2008 presidential debate between John McCain and Barack Obama. Erika Frick, who I know through my current job and my previous job at KNPB, was the hostess.

She put on a whopper. I would guess that between 75 and 100 people showed up. Most were Obama supporters, but there were a few McCain people there. I don't pay much attention to these things, as nothing that happens during them could sway my vote. However, having beer available and good conversation during this debate made it bearable.
